A cool interview with Kevin Frazier a NASA scientist, and the science consultant for the TV shows Battlestar Galactica and Eureka.

Worth check'n out, http://www.astronomycast.com/interviews/episode-53-astronomy-in-science-fiction/

Had to watch 2010 again after Dr. Frazier's comment that this movie got all the science right...

I liked 2010 but the book was so much better. 2060 was average at best.

I thought it interesting that the"Discovery" was coated in sulfur when they found it.

From IMDB User Comments:
"2010 hasn't enjoyed the staying power of its contemporary brethren (Blade Runner, 1982; the Star Wars trilogy, 1977-1983; Alien/Aliens, 1979, 1986) and is a circle-square comparison to 2001. But it holds its own in many respects and is worth a few repeated viewings"
