Title: Title of next Indiana Jones film - slight spoiler

Well, Shia LeBeouf I guess announced the title of the new Indy film at the VMA's last night.  Not sure if this is 100% official yet, but anyway this is it:  "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

Not exactly thrilled by this mouthful.   :dry

P.S.  It's official - I just checked the official web site.

hmmm I really don't like that title also. It sounds like it should be a POTC movie not a Indy movie.

Should of just been Crystal Skull.  My favorite still is:  Raiders of the Lost Ark as far as Indy titles go.

With regard to the title being long, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark is only slightly shorter then Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Very cool that they finally announced it.

And I'm sure this title will grow on us like the others. I actually don't mind the title.

And FYI... Raiders of  the Lost Ark is the title of the first movie.. no Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, they didn't do that until after the other two movies. Just like Star Wars A New Hope... use to be just Star Wars before the second two movies came out. Anyways.. yeah for the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Raiders of the Lost Ark has been and will always be the title of that movie to me.  That's the way it was when it was in theaters when it first was released and when I first saw it.  I don't care what anyone has renamed it since.  I'm sure this new movie's title will grow on me, right now it just seems a little wordy and doesn't flow like Temple of Doom or The Last Crusade.

Maybe just "Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull" would have been catchier. Then again, a name is a name. If it's a good movie no one will care.

I kind of like the Title as it has me already running things through in my head on what the Movie will be about.
