Tiger is the Mac operating system.. each of their operating systems are named after "big" cats ... Cheetah 10.0 , Puma 10.1 , Jaguar 10.2, Panther 10.3, Tiger 10.4 and the newest Mac OS system 10.5 Leopard.

1. Photoshop 7.0
2. Photoshop Elements (work pc)
3. ACDSee Classic

I use Dreamweaver to maintain my sites outside of work, but I don't really consider that a graphics application.  I used to use Flash, but it's been ages.

Thanks Kenny.  I had no idea.  I have heard awesome things about the MAC but never actually played with a newer one.  I now feel informed and curious!  I heard the operating systems are rock solid and don't crash much?  Is this true?

Paint Shop Pro!  hehe....

I actually use Photoshop sometimes but for most simple photo cropping, cleaning up, etc.  Paint Shop is fine for me.  Photoshop sometimes just seems to have TOO many options for me.  I need more practice with it too.

Oh, sorry Rick...Yep, the OS is rock solid. I don't know how I survived without Exposeâ€"Expose is a feature on OS 10.3 and 10.4 that  allows you to touch a corner of your monitor (called a hot point) and all the file windows that you have open will shrink and line up on the screen. Then you can hover over the windows and the file name pops up  as you rolling over them...click on one and it maximizes that window. It's INVALUABLE to a graphic designer, as I often have several files open, in several applications at one time... and it's a pain to have to keep minimizing all the windows until I find the one I'm looking for. And widgets are also helpful. But Tiger is soon going to be replaced by Leopard, which has a cool feature called time machine that will help you recover old files that have been deleted. Take a tour: http://www.apple.com/macosx/leopard/

Other than that, if you have a Duel Core or Quad Core G5, you'll find that they get a bit sluggish when running Adobe CS3 products (the problem is on Adobe's end). My boss's computer had 2 gigs on it, she had to buy two more to ensure that the computer could run the applications smoothly. She didn't have that problem when she was running CS.

I guess I added Toast, ZipIt and BBedit as tools that help me do the job...not because they are graphics programs. Couldn't do the work I do without those other apps.

Bleh, although I don't like Macs, I do like the names that they came out with.

Oh and I use Microsoft Picture it Premium 10 as well as software that came with my printer....HP program.

Probably not the best, but they work.

Nice to see what everyone is using to make their mark in our virtual world!
Mac, Windows or Linux - doesn't really matter as long as you let people know you're there.
