Cool news about those games. I know my Nephew will be excited about the Indy Lego game, as loves the Lego Star Wars games.

Believe me, adults love them too. I have both of the Star Wars Legos games. They are a blast! And very funny.

From what I heard, they are coming out with a Lego Star Wars Game for the Wii which will combine the first two, with some extra levels. As well the wii remote can be used to swing the lightsaber.

I have always liked Indy games, and wished they had done more, maybe with the new movie, and this game, it will breathe some life into some more Indy games.

OMG Mass Effect is going to rule my 360.  I can't wait.  I just started Bioshock, this game is getting lots of hype at the moment and is pretty cool but I don't think it is all that everyone is so fired up about.  The Lego games are fun diversions and sometimes hysterically funny but too kiddie to hold my attention for long.  Batman and Indy lego games I'll probably give a rent but I am done with anything Lego Star Wars.  Oh and don't try Lego Star Wars DS...one of the buggiest, broken games ever commercially released.

I agree. Mass Effect will be huge. All the Bioware games have always been great and for what I've read and seen on the videos, the game is shaping up to be fantastic.

Tons of great sci fi and there's even a book out now. I plan on picking it up as soon as I can.

As for Lego Indy, well I can say I plan on playing it too. The Lego Star Wars games are mind blowing fun so this one should be good too. As long as they keep the humor in it, I'm game!

I just finished Bioshock with the "good" ending...gotta return it to Blockbuster before they convert my rental into a sale, heh.  I'm someone that normally doesnt go for 1st person shooters, but this game definitely lives up to all the hype and the good word of mouth it is getting.  I highly recommend it, even to you Lego freaks.  It's the best game I've played on my 360 hands down.  I don't think anything will come close until Mass Effect or GTA4.

I am playing Bioshock although this is a good game it is nowhere as good as fear is, and from what I am hearing on some games direct x 10 is not all that great and slows games down. I am playing it n dx 9. It is good but nowhere as good as fear.

Yes...I've heard alot about Bioshock. They say the underwater world is beautiful and creepy. I was considering buying the game, but $60 is hard for me to cough up for a game that "looks pretty". So I just rented it. I have it for a week...If I like it I may just buy it.
I also rented the Civil War game that the History Channel put out. It looks interesting...but I've never heard anything about it. Guess I'll find out if it stinks.

I heard the AI for the enemies in F.E.A.R. is the best ever done in a game.  I am going to borrow this from my friend when he is done with it, can't wait to try it.  I also heard the multiplayer portion is pretty weak.

My son has been enjoying Bioshock on the PC quite a bit.  We built him that new PC early in the summer and it plays very well on it in DX 10.  Gorgeous game!

You can say that again. So far DX10 is way overblown and is actually hampering performance. Kinda stinks since we heard it was going to be the next big thing...

I have been on many forums, which have shown both versions of the game in dx 9 and 10 it is almost next to tell the differrence with the naked eye. The one thing that got me with fear was how when you hit glass it shattered into a million pieces and when you hit the walls with bullets, you could see the chunks taken out of the wall and when you hit crates and boxes, you could see the dust settle. I have not seen this duplicated in anyother game. As good as bioshock is, it is no FEAR

I've played half way through Bioshock and I don't find it scary at all...Yet I didn't rent the game because of its "graphics" or how much I thought it would scare me. I rented it because of it's unique story line...and THAT it has. It's intersting, but really gorey...The shadows of the spider slicers are pretty creepy...but again, I'm only half way through...on easy. Time will tell. I'm playing on X-box 360 so DX10 does not apply to me.

There's been widespread reports of bugs and framerate issues with the 360 version of Bioshock.  If anyone playing the game starts to have serious lag or hitching, jumpy graphics, stopping and starting, freezes, or other problems, you need to clear the cache on your hard drive.  When you start up the game, hold down the left and right bumper buttons until the menu comes up.  That should alleviate the problem.  There was an update to the game that supposedly fixed this but many reports are that it actually made things worse.

I haven't experienced that yet...It crashed once, and that was it. Oblivion crashes WAY more often.
