Design Notes:
When Lt. James set out to design the Aurora, he was looking to create a small long range ship that would support a small well trained crew on extended assignment. Focusing on defense and range, the Aurora class was outfitted with many experimental systems that would allow for long duration missions with limited starbase support.
The Aurora class was designed with a low profile so that she could dock inside many standard Starfleet vessels, but with extendable nacelles to maximize warp ability. As a multi-profile vessel, she was outfitted with sensors and science capacity while also fitted with armaments that would give her a bit of a bite in combat situations. Advanced multi-vector impulse drives gives the Aurora class a maneuverability that is unmatched by any Starfleet vessel in their size range.
Currently there are two prototypes of the Aurora class in use. The Aurora is current under the ownership of her creator and her sister ship the Corona is currently being tested as a platform for Department of Temporal Investigation assignments. Starfleet is currently interested in beginning a production run of the vessels for use as the primary auxiliary craft of their deep space explorers and stations. The speed of the ship makes her idea as a support craft on vessels with exploration profiles.
WOW! That sounds like quite a tough little ship. Should make for some interesting away missions.
Dibs on first away mission driving XD
lol jk
Very very interesting.

With Quinn and Sevyrll on the surface, and virtually all of the senior staff on R&R, you are going to have a problem being hailed by them! Perhaps we can figure a way out to get you on the ship without them???
Cool looking ship. Sounds fun. Can't wait to see her in action!
after looking at the internet for months, I give you the look of the Aurora Class. This is how she looks give or take a few cosmetic things.

If you want a version with "Aurora" on it... I can help you with that. :)
Just let me know what number you want to give her.
WOW. That is uber awesome! Very nice. Maybe ST Online will have something similar for a personal ship.
