Hello. I am very interested about joining the game, but I wanted to know what types of characters that your game had room for.
I am looking to play an enginner that is also a test pilot. His role would be to design/test system and technology ideas on small platform vessels. I see him as a trek version of the old test pilots of old. People with their own ideas on how to advance science and the courage to put their lives on the line by strapping themselves into rockets and seeing if they could actually work. Having looked at the time line of your setting, there are a lot of advances in trek that are just being put into the fleet or are right around the corner. So, would that work for your setting? A test pilot/ engineer assigned to the ship to test new ideas and shuttle designs.

Neat idea and welcome to the forums - Just X! I'm sure Jen or Kenny will give you a better idea on this, but I'd say it sounds like a very interesting idea/character.
Thank you for the welcome. BTW I love the site and the podcast. Finding it was like when I first woke up one late night as a child to see my first episode of TOS ( Devil in the Dark) and being hooked on it ever since.
