CBS has bought â€Kingdom,†a fantasy drama from director Barry Sonnenfeld and writer Chad Hodge (“Tru Callingâ€), with Sony Pictures Television producing.
“Kingdom†will be set during a time when knights ruled the lands and majestic castles loomed high over the country-side. The pilot is reported to revolve around four seemingly average young men. However, one of them turns out to be the heir to the throne. The series will explore how this new development changes the lives of the four friends, particularly the new King Lucasâ€"who’d rather drink and womanize than fulfill his kingly obligations.
That sounds cool, and a TV series as well. Will keep an eye out for this. Did they mention when this would be debuting?
