Title: Harry Potter Book 7 - How are you getting your Copy?? NO SPOILERS
Post by: Geekyfanboy on July 18, 2007, 10:44:54 PM
TWO MORE DAYS!!!!!

I'll be going to a Harry Potter Book party at my local Borders (dressed up of course) Friday night and picking up the final Harry Potter book at a local grocery store (Ralphs) at 12.01am.  I would just get it from Borders but you had to pre-order and I did not.. but I can get it at the grocery store for the cheap price of $17.99 .

I'll read two or three chapters the night I get it and then try and finish it up before Thursday when I go to Comic Con, that will give me five days to finish the book.

What are you doing?

Getting it via Amazon.com

Word of warning ----

Please if you do start talking about the book here in detail post a spoiler warning.  I'm trying very hard to avoid hearing spoilers about the book (they already are out there) so let's try and keep that from happening here.

I second that warning... it's tough avoiding everything that is out there.. I have to avoid many of my HP groups and websites because of all the stuff that has leaked.  This thread is for talking about getting your book.. not what the book is about or who dies or who doesn't die... I'll create another thread for that. Once you have read the book you can post your spoilers in that thread.

I will be going to the local Hastings around midnight....they too are having a party....I am considering taking at least 2 of the kids just for the experience.  I myself have never actually been to a midnight release party for anything so I am looking forward to it.

Not sure how long it will take to read it.....reading anything with 4 kids running around is difficult sometimes.

I am gonna try to pick it up somewhere this weekend. I am really looking forward to reading it. Unfortunately I have one friend who takes great pleasure in ruining things for me. Last time he showed me something on his computer, which just happened to have someone with a sig that said... So and So dies on page 7??.

He thought that was really funny...

Doesn't sound like a friend to me.

In other news, so and so dies on page ... what?

Excellent book I just couldn't put it down. I can't beleave I finished it 1 day! I figured the best way to avoid any spoilers was to try & read it as fast as I can..
