I'm trying to think the best and maybe he had a conflict when C4 happened back in late May. I actually think he's a pretty good guy, but he does seem to want to distance himself from Star Wars - at times.
From what I had heard, he had a scheduling conflict, and they had hoped he could attend C4, but was unable to do so. CE does sound like it is shaping up nicely, great news for all the people on the other side of the Atlantic.
