Well, its about time I started posting more,
You all know me pretty much as the writer who created Ensign Isaac Startstriker for the RPG forums. You also know that I play World of Warcraft. However, in retrospect, you know very little. I'm not going to tell you my entire life story, but heck, I will tell you a few things.
I am a geek and nerd. But who isn't? I am a gamer, musician, and high school graduate about to go to college. I play many instruments: piano and saxophones and more. However, the main reason I created this thread was not for my sappy and typical life story, but something I want to share.
For the longest time i have created many things with the items called: K'nex. *I have also toyed with Legos from time to time*. And there are a couple creations I thought I would post here.
First off: the NCC-012345 U.S.S. Saturn. Planetary Battleship Cruiser.
I had this idea while I was watching Star Trek and during Star Trek The Motion Picture I decided I would try and create a K'nex Replica of the U.S.S. Enterprise. This failed miserably but created an entirely different and cool ship. This ship is a mean machine with small side shuttle bays. Its firepower was mostly in the front with laser cannons that could shoot from front to side to back on both of its sides. It has 4 warp engines and an aft torpedo tube. This ship is very big but very stable so it stayed together for the most part. I created this ship in 2001 and took it down in 2003 due to the little space/parts I had.
Next: I created the NCC-012345-A U.S.S. Saturn. Interceptor Battleship.
This was the next ship in the line, a more slimmer and agile ship than its predecessor. Again, decided it was time to recreate the Saturn Series so i went ahead and created this. This one actually had an aft launch bay with shuttles in it unlike its predecessor. Its arsenal its directed in the front like its predecessor except without any aft weapons except for some side-firing torpedos. 4 smaller warp engines. All in all, it was constructed in late 03 and taken down in 04 due to limited space/parts.
I then used the parts for a summer camp that had a medival theme.
Thus, inspired by Link *hmm......my name?* I created this Shield and Sword combo. Yes, the shield is very strong and can be held on the arm. I still have both of these created and plan on keeping it that way.
As you can see, I can do a lot with K'nex. i just thought I would share this stuff. again, I USED NO instructions. I just used experience, my creativity, and had lots and lots and lots of prototypes.
Thank you for coming on this journey that is still years in the coming.
Oh, and here is just a little bit of collecting that I have done, yes, that is the NCC-1701 Enterprise. And its a phone, very cool, i use it, but my family dislikes using it. >.>... Anyway, it makes the red alert noise instead of usual ringing. And the red part of the nacelles light up. Very cool, considering I'm not much of a collector. Sorry, just don't have moooolah.

*And no, i'm not going to reveal my true name until I think the time is right, just like my ensign's true background* Also, I can supply different angles of the ships if anyone is interested. These are very cool designs. And the little ppl are K'nex men from other sets, the crews of the ships! I also appologize if they picture quality is low, these are pictures taken from a digital, then printed, then copied from the papers then posted....LONG story.
The U.S.S. Saturn NCC-012345-A Picture
Ok, after finally figuring out my pic editor (new program) I got all pictures up. They are very small bytes so you shouldn't ahve a problem loading.
Anyway, enjoy and comment please!!
Might also mention that the last two pictures were taken from a very nice web cam! :)
Those are very cool. You are very creative. Neat pictures. I have one of those phones too around somewhere.
Great pictures KL... thanks for sharing.
That's some cool stuff dude. How hard would DS9 be??
Probably not that hard, if I put my mind to it and had the time. I'm not going to be making much for a while. I've got too much to do as it is, but that is an idea.

Very cool!
