Title: Podcast #121 - the show goes on
Post by: Rico on May 13, 2007, 03:01:53 AM
Just posted up show #121.  This is a special guest host podcast featuring Rick Moyer and his wife Amy.  They chat quite a bit about Star Trek and lots of other cool things.  They are quite the natural podcasting team.  I know you will enjoy hearing this special Mother's Day show while I'm in Taiwan.  Thanks again to both of the Moyers for taking the time to do this.

You are welcome Rico.  It was very fun to do, and my wife and I were pleased to help out.  Can't wait till you're home and we get some more episode podcasts.  I have been going back and listening to some of your earlier ones, great stuff.  I just got done listening to the Empire Strikes Back.  Wow.  You are the best Rico!

Happy Mother's day every one!  And thanks again Rico, I hope everybody enjoys the cast this week.  Amy and I had a great time doing it.

Great jobs guys... Amy you sound very sweet, and I hate to tell you this but you're a geek :) but I wouldn't expect anything else for Rick's wife and Nathan's mom.  Thanks for all your thoughts on our little world of Star Trek.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone.  I will forward them to my wife.  She kind of went out on a limb doing that, it's not her normal thing.

:)

Anyway, thanks for the encouragment.  But honestly, I can't wait for Rico to be back in the saddle.  I miss him!

:)

Moyers,

Very special podcast. Not only did we get personal Trek experiences, we also got a glimpse into a healthy marriageâ€"what one considers when showing love to another. We got to know you as individuals and as a godly couple. What's cool is the transparancy; the sharing of not only the selfless, but selfish motivations for things you did for one another. All in all, very refreshing. God bless you both. Thanks.

Rico,

Very cool that you were gracious enough to share the program. This really is a community. God bless you.

Moyers,

I really liked your podcast.  It was very cool to listen to all of your Star Trek experiences as a married couple.

Rick, I suppose I should not reveal my love for Star Trek to my future wife (I don't know who she is yet--LOL) until after the marriage ceremony. It'll be too late for her to reject me. It worked for you; it might work for me too. I'm just kidding  :D  Still, what you and Amy said about your honeymoon was really funny.

Great Podcast Moyers. Liked hearing about all your Star Trek related experiences, and you talking about Vegas. I felt the same as you guys, a lot of walking. Not sure how you can stick to a diet well there, as just to much food around, good for you guys :)
