Nice glasses. I've been meaning to get new ones myself, but I never got around to it. Plus going to the optometrist is like going to the dentist for me: I hate it. :)

Anyways, they look great on you. ;)

Thanks everybody... i'm blushing.  :blush

They sure have come a long way from when I was a kid.  (I sound old.)  I went to Walmart and had the exam for $60.  They took me in a room used two machines that looked at my eye, it made a reccomendation for the Optometrist who used a little gadget on my eyes just to make sure the machine got it right and ... TADA!  I had my perscription.  Then I ordered my cheapo frames, the expensive lens so the stigmatizm in my right eye would behave and in four days I had my new glasses.  Quick and painless.  Ah, technology!  I didn't even need my eyes dialated.  How cool is that? :ohbaby

Great glasses. They look good on you.

I also wear glasses but I'm thinking about having that Lasik procedure done on my right eye (my left eye is fine).  I still need to do all my research concerning that procedure though.

Wow, this is my 100th post.  Yay!  :cheering

I've known a few dudes that had Lasik - they all came out great!  Most got back to near 20/20.  Cool glasses dude.

I have been told I have super hero vision. But I sit in front of a giant monitor for 8 hours a day...I'm sure I'll have to wear them in a few years. If I do, I'll be sure to pick some cool ones like yours. ;)

That's way cool.  I went to ShopKo recently for an exam.  It was the normal kind - "Which is better, 1?  or 2?" over and over again.  They ordered lenses for the frame I already had - which they sold - and a week later when they came in they'd ordered the wrong material, so they were twice as thick as they were supposed to be. So they sent them back.  A week later when they came in, they didn't fit in the frames.  They'd made them too big.  So they sent them back.  A week later the lenses came in, the right size, but the wrong prescription.  I couldn't see.  Gah!  A week later (total of 4 now) they come in and they finally work.  It only took them a MONTH to get them right.  Guess where I won't be going next time I need glasses.

Everything takes longer than you think.

Murphy's Law #3
Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

Murphy's Law #4
If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to occur. Corollary: If there is a worse time for something to go wrong, it will happen at that time.

That's why I go to Lenscrafters.  It might be more expensive, but I get my glasses in one hour.  And they've never goofed up.
