When is it ok for us to add to the story? Do you want us to wait until you give us the go ahead? Just making sure before I jump in.
The storyline post is locked at the moment, the posts there being kind of teasers. I'll unlock it tonight (tue) with a post and then everyone can post.

Which would be better, to hop in to the current story with a cut away to different crew, start a new thread as a "different set of scenes" or just wait until the time is right to post in "the thread"?
We've got a lot of characters and players so we might need more than one thread....

We'll be keeping it in one thread for the moment and splitting off as we need to. If new threads are to be created it will always be by either Rico, Kenny or myself.
I'm making it easy to begin with, I'm just about to go post another post myself opening the storyline for people to start posting and "Introducing Themselves" to the ship & crew. I'll then be posting a Captain's briefing much later on. It'll all make much more sense when I've posted though.
