Hey Rico,

Is it for sure going to be Star Trek five?

...... should I be getting prepared for the Sybock shuffle?

YES - definitely ST 5.  I'm expecting another father/son bit from you and Nathan on this.  Easy pickings for this movie.

I love Kirk's "I need my pain."

Though obviously flawed, TFF has a lot of great moments.

Yeah - that's going to be my main emphasis for discussion.  Not a great Trek movie - but many cool parts (I love the start with the 3 mains camping together).

That was always my point with this movie.  It wasn't a bad movie, it is just my least favorite Trek movie.

Although then camping scene at the beginning (Yellowstone wasn't it?) are great.

Surprisingly, Star Trek 5 was the  Star Trek movie I saw the most times in the theatre. I do agree it does have some great moments, especially with Kirk/Spock/McCoy. I am looking forward to your comments on it Rico.

The national park used was Yosemite. I went there a couple years ago. It was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Go if you ever get the chance.

I am excited about this podcast.  Nathan and I laughed until we hurt talking about it before we recorded a comment for you.  What a fun movie, but I really am excited about Star Trek Six, the undiscovered Country!
