Do you believe in magic? No, not the kind they teach you at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This is the kind of magic that brings the world's most popular character to life as an amazing action figure. And after four movies and a whole bunch of kid-targeted toys that left collectors unsatisfied, NECA has harnessed this magic to make some kick-ass Harry Potter toys that look so good they defy the laws of science.
I am so looking forward to these figures.. there is a nice article in the current Toyfare, I plan on picking it up tomorrow. I'll post more once I read it but here are several AWESOME pictures.

Those do look really nice. NECA is getting more and more of my business lately. I think I'll be picking up my first Harry Potter figure(s).
Here is more news about the upcoming figures..
Got this from the NECA myspace page.
In case you had not heard our license covers all the previous films so we will have 2 series running concurrently in 2007, "Harry Potter" which will include figures from movies 1-4 and then our "Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix" figures which will focus on the fifth film, Order of the Phoenix exclusively. Images of our "Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix" figures will be available by mid-February in time for the International Toy Fair.
They released pictures of the other three figures. There will be five in the first series.. Harry Potter, Voldy, two different Death Eaters and a Demontor. They are 7 inch figures and should be out in March.

Neca just announced there new series 1 of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix figures coming out next month.
And when you buy Harry, Ron and Hermione you get parts of a "dummy" death eater build a character.
Check out the new Hagird Deluxe figure.. looks great and it say about 12 sayings.
Wow! That's incredible. If the production piece looks that good, I'll definitely pick it up.
Just got my series one of the new Order of the Phoenix figures (Ron, Harry, Hermione and Sirius). Neca has done a wonder job with these.. at least from a collectors viewpoint. They look dead on but not much articulations. They are producing 7 inch figures as well as 3 3/4 inch figures. I got my 7 inch figures today.
So here is Series 2 from Neca for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. These are the first official pictures released. That's why they are small...
Unfortunately I could never get into this stuff, although they look nice.
Man these look cool I want a Mad Eye Moody! I saw a some pic's of these in some toy Mag & I think I remember seeing a Mad Eye...
There is a Mad Eye Moody with the UK series.. haven't seen one with the Neca toyline.
Do you know who is doing the UK series? From what I had seen it looked really cool.
Yeah it's a company called Cards Inc. http://www.cardsinc.com/index.htm
I have the first series from them.. they look pretty good for being only 3 3/4 inch figures. Personally I liked the 7 inch and 3 3/4 inch US figures from Neca better. The Neca figures I think are a bit more detailed but they don't have much movement as the UK figures.. the UK figures have something like 12 points of articulations.. which is amazing for such a small figure.
Here are some pixs of the UK versions.
Wow ! these are very cool thanks for the info I will have to pick these up.
No problem.. yeah I had to have them too.. the only problem is they are only in the UK, luckily I have a friend who lives there and he was able to pick them up for me.. but the big problem is the value of the US dollar to the UK pound, it's worth about half... and shipping from the UK.. figures cost about $200.00 but shipping was over $100.00. I don't think I ever spent so much on just 12 figures. But hey it's Harry Potter :)
Ouch I had feeling the price would be high. They do look reall cool though.
check out series three of the new NECA Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix action figures.
I'll be picking these up for sure.
Wow the sculpts are really really nice.
Yeah Neca has done a great job on the HP line.. I'm very impressed with it.
wow..these are really nice looking..no offense to the UK but i like the american versions better...their more detailed.

Yeah I agree.. they are also three times bigger. That is one cool thing about the UK ones.. they are very small but have alot of details for something so small..But nothing beats the US versions.
ohhh i love the Bellatrix one! and if i lived in the UK i'd pick the figures up but i'm not sure if their worth importing.
Yeah I'm a uber Harry Potter geek and had to have them.. cost me way to much money.
so which ones did you get?
All of them :) $$$$
