Got the weekend show up now folks. Still a bit nasal sounding due to this cold hanging on - but I think it came out ok. Enjoy!
Excellent podcast as usual
I'm downloading now...
Just downloaded it and I'm off on my walk to listen to it!
I'll let you know what I think!
Rick
Great show this week dude. Love those tholians...
Ok, our walk is done.. 2.8 miles... phew! It was cold and windy today. I made a mistake and only downloaded half of the podcast, so just about half way through it stopped. It was pretty funny, my wife looked at me and said... "What happened?" So, luckily, I had downloaded some other of your podcasts, and we listened to your interview with Amy? At least part of it. You do an excellent job on this. I got home, downloaded the rest of it and just got done listening.
Ok, about this Podcast. I liked your clips, and your take on this episode. I agree with you on the third season, Spock's brain was a reall clunker. The information you gave about the third season was great, and I really enjoyed the comment from Scott on the enhanced shows. I got a kick out of the TV station announcing the wrong episode. How embarassing. ;D
Hey Peter- cool accent. I enjoyed your comments and liked your take on the episode. Cool information, thanks for the comments. Rico- this guy is great and his comments added a lot to your cast.
I am so hoping that William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy will do cameos in the new movie, that would so ROCK.
I am looking forward to the new Comic books of TNG, I hope you will have a link to where we can order them, you may already have that... YES?
Another very good show. Way to go Rico! :biggrin
Glad you enjoyed it. It's a cool episode and the comments help.
Great cast, Rico! one of my favorite episodes of the original show.
Terrific show, Rico, with some great comments even I hadn't thought of, especially regarding Spock's motivation. For thos eof you interested in the Tholians, read the 2 new "Star Trek: Vanguard" series of books, especially the second one. The Tholians are a very large part of the story and a lot of information regarding their society is included. Well worth the read.
You keep doing it just right, Rico!
I watched the episode before listening to the podcast and my only disappointment was that you did not mention or made any exception on how easily the Enterprise escaped from wihtin the tholian web. After all the time and energy the poor tholians expent on trapping the ship in !
BTW, I just watched Enterprise's 1st season episode "Dear Doctor" and found it excellent material for you to discuss about the genesis of the Prime Directive ! The Prime Directive is as actual as a subject can be, with some countries deciding which ways other countries should evolve...
Best regards!

Thanks for the comments everyone. Always good to hear about what you all thought of the podcasts as they go out. I'll keep that episode in mind Ric.
Excellent show , Rico. Though your accent is WAAAY cooler than my stilted English accent. Thanks to Rick Moyer for his kind comments. Has anyone seen the Of Gods & Men trailer? It looks fantastic!
Long live ( and prosper) Star Trek!
Hey Rico
I know you can't just do TOS episodes every week...but man I love em. You really nail them and they seem fresh again. We've all seen them a million times, so it's nice for us to come back and see it from a different perspective.
Cheers!
EDIT: When I was a young lad, I had an amazing poster on my wall of the Enterprise in the web. I just thought the Tholians were the coolest thing in the world. This was before the world of VCRs, so the brief glimpse of them had to be absorbed so quickly.
Thanks a lot Elizur. I really appreciate the comments. I do love TOS but I try to spread the various TREK series out some so every show gets some attention.
