Title: Podcast #565 - "Jonny Quest"
Post by: Rico on December 06, 2015, 07:08:32 AM
Mark is back this week with a look at the cool 1960's era series, "Jonny Quest."  Big thanks to Mark for covering one of my favorite cartoon shows.

I just listen to the podcast a few days ago, great show.   I loved watching Johnny Quest when I was a kid, loved the original series I did not care for the updated versions.  The original version was indeed a prodcut of its time. That ep with the robot spider attacking the army base, the spider itself is iconic.  The show had so many great eps i am not sure which would have been my favorite.  My dad also loved watching the show as well, I still remember when we were finding something to watch on TV, when Johnny Quest was on he would say leave it there.

Mark, thanks for this special podcast on Jonny Quest, it brought back memories.  I was not aware of the music by Hoyt Curtin but did download a number of tracks on iTunes, but did you say it was possible to get the Quest music on-line as well?  I really dig that jazz brass sound (played some of that myself in high school eons ago).

I thought you guys might enjoy what Johnny Quest could look like as a stop motion animated show. This is really well done!
