Title: I, Frankenstein

Now on Netflix streaming.  Good storyline and fun - liked Chuck's "Sarah" in her role.

Didn't really care for this movie that much.  Did like seeing Yvonne again but overall a pretty forgettable film I thought.

So I take it this is not the Shelley novel?

Funny how people's tastes differ. I actually thought the film was a refreshing twist on the Frankenstein monster. It reminded me slightly of the Koontz novels. It kind of turned the monster into a superhero of sorts and seemed very comic book like to me. Kind of surprised you comic guys didn't like it.

Just too similar to several other movies I have seen - such as the Underworld series.

Ah... Ok well, I've not seen any of the Underworld stuff.

There are several other movies and TV shows like this too.  Such as:  "Legion", "Constantine" and the SyFy series "Dominion."  Just a little too much of the same old thing for my taste.

Never watched any of those either. I don't get to see a lot of things unless I either buy them or they show up on Netflix or Amazon Prime. In any case not having seen these probably helped my enjoyment of it.

Just finished watching it.  Definitely an UnderWorld/Constantine type movie.  I did like the twist on the Frankenstein character.  It wasn't movie the best movie I've seen, but I did enjoy it.  It's a great Saturday Matinee Movie, as long as you don't spend more than five bucks.
