Wow, large topic. You could probably devote a tire podcast series to a topic like that.

So many good shows not discovered until the boxsets came out :)

Just competed the 'Lost' DVD sets.
The mysteries of the run-down DARMA Initiative sites echoed the early computer game MYST. Loved the 70's - 80's era tech!

File this one under sci-fi / action genre?

This was really cool.

I have a book called OF MICE AND MAGIC (Leonard Maltin) which covers a history of animated cartoons. Anyhow, it gives a little background to why Bakshi's LOTR was so...weird, basically & the state of undoing for animated movies at the time it came out, most of which was indirectly related to Bakshi. The style (rotoscoping & budgetary constraints) and also supposedly to be two films.

Hi fellas, had a triple treks podcast day today and listened to your episode first. Loved it, great conversation and wonderful opinions. Brilliant.
