This week, Chris and I return for another 'fahntastik' look at Conan with our commentary to "Conan the Destroyer." This 1984 film might be not as classic as the first Conan movie, but it's still a lot of fun. Enjoy the podcast! Ya, ya!

I think Conan is kind of a "guy thing" more. Arnold is just so much fun to watch!
Please tell me you guys listened to Sam Witwer doing his Arnold impersonation on the Force Cast.
Sounded like you both had a lot of fun recording this podcast and it was enjoyable. Anyway, one of your comments got me thinking, so I checked further. IMDB listed two other acting credits for Wilt Chamberlain: "The Shape of Things" (TV Movie - 1973) and "Any Given Sunday" (uncredited - 1999). I also learned that Grace Jones was nominated for a Saturn Award for this movie.

On Rebel Force Radio at the end of their ROTJ commentary - yep. Sam is pretty darn good and pretty funny.
I knew you would appreciate it!
Thanks guys, lots of fun.
I enjoyed the podcast. It has been awhile since I have seen this movie, but found I remembered it quite well, plus I can never get enough of Arnold Impersonations.
Listened yesterday, you guys sounded like you had a blast, Had a little trouble hearing Chris in parts but that's skype for you. Didn't kill the enjoyment though, kept laughing all the way through :)
Stupid Skype. We need a better solution!
I never thought about the hokiness of this one until listening to the cast. I saw it a long time ago, and recall enjoying it - but you broke that spell! :)

Sorry! It's not actually all THAT bad...just mostly. It's a big, fun hunk of 80's fantasy cheese.
The cheese of some of these movies really just add to their charm, it is always fun to go back and watch movies from the 80's and early 90's, just to watch how the movie plays out and how they present it. To me it does not really detract, but more so adds to the fun on rewatching them.
