Post by: Bromptonboy on November 18, 2013, 10:55:00 AM

If skies are clear - another chance to see a launch along the east coast:

Next Launch: Minotaur I, Nov. 19
A Minotaur I rocket carrying the DOD's Operationally Response Space-3 mission is set to launch Nov. 19 from Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport Pad 0B here. The window for launch is 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. EST.

We saw this one - I was at my son's Scout meeting and we all filed out and got a pretty good view.  It was great - although not as impressive as LADEE was in September.  We are in the Philadelphia area - so I am just glad we can see these at all.  There is another in December to catch.  :)  And hopefully ISON will make a show for us if it doesn't break up.
