Great interview with William Shatner  on the Stern show this week.... listening to the reply right now. Anyone else catch it?

I heard it, and his recording of Silver Nickels and Golden Dimes. He really is one of the best guests on that show, he really knows how to roll with it. I loved his reaction to the audio book mash ups.

I've listened to only scattershot here and there episodes of the Howard Stern Radio Show since he left terrestrial air.  I was a huge fan ever since I was young and he started simulcasting on the Philly stations, long before he went into national syndication.  I've seen every episode of the old channel 9 TV show, and was a regular watcher of the E show as well.  I felt pretty betrayed when he went to pay-for-play satellite radio: one of the most wealthy broadcasters on the planet charging listeners individually totally rubbed me the wrong way and you can count me in as a lost fan from the switch to satellite.

I loved that old channel 9 show!  I can still see the Snapple Spokeswoman of the week.  :)  I would listen to him for a few months, get tired of the radio show, drop it for a few months then come back to it.

Loved all the 'Whack Pack' characters.

Joby, I always saw it more as a way to have a show that he felt good about and not constantly being censored behind the scenes. The show on satellite has just been better, maybe more filthy , but for the most part it's just better. The interviews are better, less commercials, etc.

I thought it was funny how he had to come up with creative descriptions that wouldn't tick off the censors.
