This week I got together with Chris & Chuck on Skype to talk all about "Conan the Barbarian." The main focus is the 1982 classic film with Ahh-nold. There is also some background given on Robert E. Howard the creator and author of many Conan books & stories. We hit on the comics a bit as well as the other Conan films too. This was a real fun show to do and I hope you enjoy our maybe not so great Ahh-nold impressions (well mine is bad, but Chris can really nail it given the right amount of alcohol - lol). Big thanks to Chris & Chuck for doing this show with me. So, enjoy this fun podcast.

Give dah people air Kohagen!
Just readin Arnie's autobiography and got to the part where he discusses the one liners. He discovered that people loved them when Terminator came out so it became "his thing" and one of his requirements in roles going forward.
Funny posts guys. Looking foward to hearing this. Got two more of these to catch up on though. Trek music 3 and Indiscretion.
I've never been a Conan fan, but this podcast was not only entertaining I actually learned something. LOL! Great chemistry and Arnold impressions, I'm still laughing. GREAT JOB GUYS! Thank you!
I have never seen Conan, but this podcast has me curious! I got a copy of the movie free on DVD from a newspaper years ago...I think I will have to watch it soon! :)
Conan was a big movie when it was in theaters, my friends and I really liked it, it was like "Excalibur" this hard core, rated R, fantasy movie with boobs and swords! We were there! :)

Ditto.. ;)
Awesome podcast. At the end you guys got silly, hilarious.
I've never watched the movie or read the books. Now I want to do both, and I'll have to look for the dark horse comics as well.
Great episode! Never been really into Conan but I do recall reading some Conan comics back in the day. I'm sure Marvel had the license for a while didn't it? I remember those stories being pretty good.
Started listening to this today. So far very good info on Howard.
Marvel did run a Conan series for some time. I had a few of them. I also have 5 novels but none by Howard.

Yeah, there was a rambling moment when I talked about that for a few, but I cut it because the wine was messing with my memory.
Just snagged one of these off eBay! "Steel Conan - that's what matters!"
Pretty badass. I hope you have learned the Riddle of Steel, otherwise Crom will cast you out of Valhalla and laugh at you. That is Crom, strong on his mountain.

LOL! I must make Crom proud! I must hear the lamentations of the women.
Enjoyed this podcast and I liked that you touched on other things besides the 1st Arnold movie. You guys covered alot. Also here is a link for anyone wanting to learn more about some of the comics from Conan. I didn't know that Marvel published so many issues!

I just listen to the podcast last night, great show. Conan the original movie is one of my faves. Like the co-host, I watch it for the first time on cable TV. it is a great movie from start to finish. When it comes to Fantasy, the Conan type gene is my favorite. I had the movie on DVD but it got lost. I have seen the sequel but I do not think it is good as the first one. I have not seen the remake as of yet so I can't say too much about it.
Some funny behind the scenes pics...love Sven-Ole giving Arnie the hammer!
Those are great! Not sure who looks scarier - Arnold or Grace Jones!
Wow! Whatever happened to GJ? Haven't seen her in anything for ages.

Singing and still bringing the weird as of 2011!
...and she was at the Diamond Jubilee concert we went to over here last year. An... interesting... person I think.
