Title: Podcast # 439 - "Bounty"
Post by: Rico on June 02, 2013, 04:43:58 PM
I had a very busy weekend and got short on time, so this is sort of a "cliff notes" version of the podcast this week.  I briefly look at the Enterprise episode "Bounty", talk more "Into Darkness" and a little on Matt Smith leaving "Doctor Who."  Hope you all enjoy this short, abbreviated version of the podcast.  Kind of fun to do one this quickly!

A favorite Enterprise episode  :thumbsup

T'Pol running around in her skivvies was good, but the A story was great.

Not keeping the peace or helping a fallen crew mate or some other captain-ly thing this time... Archer all alone shows what a clever adversary he can be.

Short and Sweet episode. I didn't mind you doing a short one like this, you had a very good reason why. Have a safe trip.

Thanks Will.  Yeah, it was kind of fun to do a "quickie" review for a change.  My weekend just was super filled up but I did want to still get a show out for everyone.

WOW!  Much better than I thought.  I had read that $181 number thinking it was the worldwide amount.  I should had known it had made much more than that at this point.  COOL!  Time to start ST:3!

It doesn't look like it's going to reach the $385M global ST-'09 did and they (Paramount) had pretty lofty, and likely unrealistic, expectations.

You are correct rico, a shorter cast is much preferable to no cast! It was great, thanks :)

Hi Rico, I just listen to the podcast the other night.  good podcast, I had no problem with it being short.  sometimes a short podcast will fit in both persons busy schedules.
