Looking forward to this one!
Love the graphic! Awesome!
Just started to listen! Here is the Trek game I recall first, the late '70's TRS80 version! Followed by that first STAR TREK arcade game, I loved that one! Hard to believe these games were only a few years apart.
That's the one I was talking about during the cast Bryan!

Yeah, it was based on a game called Invaders or something and given a Star Trek theme. We used to play it in computer lab in grade school!

I really loved Elite Force, that was a great game, I played it on my iMac. I am 75% done with the new game. Looks great but the game play is dull and the limited environmental interaction options make it dull. I want to explore and interact but can't. Some of the puzzles and tasks are good, others annoying. Colonial Marines was a lot better. I had the same problem in the space combat section, had to restart the level to catch the instructions!
I agree, the very first level when you're walking around the ship you feel like you want to fiddle with everything and talk to everyone, and there barely any options at all to do so. The game could have used another year or so of development to add those kinds of touches, but I'm not certain anything could have helped.
Great coverage of quite a few memorable games guys! And thanks for the shout outs!
locked and loaded for the return commute.

And if they don't they should! Been catching up on your stuff, it's great.
Did someone mention Elite Force?
I need to listen to this immediately!
Bah, you guys didn't need to mention me at all, let alone give my show a plug.
Even though I've never played these games it was a fun cast to listen to! Thanks guys
Great job! Thanks
I just listen to the podcast last night. great podcast guys. I'm not into gaming that much but the topic is fun and interesting to me. a lot of nostalgia there when you talk about past games. I do recall having a Star Trek video game for the Atari we once had, this would have been in the early 80's. I can't remember the title to it..

im really glad u all enjoyed it. I had so much fun talking about these beloved games. If u had an Atari VCS (2600) then the only Star Trek game for that system was a home port of the arcade game we talked about in the beginning of the podcast. I had it as well and played the crap out of it.

Yes it was an Atari 2600 and do belive it was the same game title. but it has been so long ago, hard to rember.
I still have an occasional evening with Star Trek: Legacy on the XBox. Can't remember how far I've got but I think it's somewhere in the Kirk era, or maybe Picard. Something to do with meteorites.
Not the most modern game these days but still fun to play.
I am catching up on My Podcasts after falling behind a bit. Great Job Both, really relived some great memories. One of the PC games you were talking about at the start, was that Star Trek Rebel Universe? Not sure if it was or not, but I had Rebel Universe for the PC, but could never get anywhere as I would always overload the Warp Core.
