Hey everyone - this week a fun and different TSF podcast. I got together last weekend and recorded a show with the Anomaly ladies, Jen & Angela. We covered the classic Trek episode, "The Way to Eden." This show was a blast to do and I had a great time with Jen & Angela (and a lot of laughs along the way too). Technically this was their show, so it will be released on their feed too (with a slightly different edit). Expect another joint cast sometime in the near future with us again. Big thanks to both Jen & Angela for the help on this week's podcast.

Good episode review with the Anomally girls.
Liked Angela's 'valley girl' schtick, lol!
Even the worst TOS episodes are pretty good and you guys bring up some great points to ponder.
The similarity to Enterprise season-1, Fusion is a good one.
Nice to know that Tongo Rad escaped Eden to become Dr. Frank-n-Furter's assistant Riff-Raff.
It's no Schtick :) She really sounds like that. Weird because we're both native Texans, 8th generation to be exact. :D Glad you like it. We had a lot of fun recording with Rico and have plans for another episode later this year.
This is going to be awesome! I watched that episode last night. I reach! :)
In my opinion,"The Omega Glory" ranks lower than "The Way to Eden". I liked the latter much better (especially the music), even with its quirks. Thanks for the insights because I didn't know about the rewrites and think D.C. Fontana's original script might have fitted the series better. Why couldn't have Kirk have been involved with the 20-something Joanna since he was (presumably) in his early-mid 30s at this point in his career? Didn't Spock play his lyre in a couple of other episodes since I remember Uhura singing a few times during the series?
Ladies and gent, really enjoyed the episode, i sat there laughing away (mainly because i'm friends with you all) cant wait for more of these. MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great show! Don't foget the endless Vic Fontaine musical rat pack crap DS9 forced us to endure! Branon and Braga and Moore are guilty of a lot of self indulgence with those episodes.
I was listening to Anomaly.... oh wait, it was Trek to:)
Laughed so hard. This is an episode so bad I can't even bear to watch it. I actually feel embarrassed for the actors. At least with "Spock's Brain" I can watch it and mock it.
Glad everyone is enjoying this joint podcast. Expect more to come in the future.
You were all having fun and it made it fun to listen to it. It's been a long time since I watched this episode. And even though you guys did a great job with the podcast I don't think the episode has moved up very far on my "must see" list. ;D
Not bad for a bunch of Herberts.. :)
If anyone wants to see the actress (Mary-Linda Rapelye) that played Irina (Chekov's old girlfriend) from this episode, she is the blonde ambassador with Chekov in the shuttle in this New Voyages episode. I meant to mention this on the podcast. This is a really good New Voyages episode too that focuses on Chekov and also guest stars Walter Koenig too.

Oh, I saw that in her IMDB credits! :)
BTW, I thought it was funny that we both chose to use the Spock Jam Session as the lead in music for our shows. PERFECT choice :D
Hi Rico, I listened to the podcast just a couple of days ago. great podcast with the ladies. I remember watching the ep when it was in reruns. I never cared for the ep too much. but it was interssting none the less, I thought the notions of hippies in the 23th century was novel. but the musical numbers were a bit over the top.
Great fun!
