Gerry Anderson has passed away at age 83. He had a big influence on me growing up watching the "Thunderbirds" and "Space: 1999." Really interesting that Mark just recently looked at the movie he did, "Journey to the Far Side of the Sun." Rest in peace Gerry. Thunderbirds are Go!

Very sad to hear, I was a big Thunderbirds fan.
Loved his work on Thunderbirds, Stingray, Captain Scarlet, Supercar, Space 1999 and so many other things. He was a brilliant artist, a great storyteller and a special effects pioneer. He will be missed! Rest in peace Gerry and thanks for bringing so much joy to all of us when we were kids young and old.
Yes, I loved all of his programs - UFO, Space 1999, and especially Capt. Scarlett. He is one of the Masters.
That's sad news. I was a big fan of his work. Rest in Peace, Gerry.
