Just picked this up at Best Buy today, really enjoying it so far...a little bit of BioShock, a little bit of thief, and some nice open choices a'la Skyrim. My kind of game.

I've heard really good things about the game. Love to get an audio review for the podcast sometime in the future once you have played more of it.
This is pretty good game from what I've heard, but the AAA pricing means I'm waiting until much later to pick it up. If you rush straight through it too, you only get about 6 hours of gameplay, so you'll want to explore the levels and want to enjoy the lore of this world if you pick it up.
That's all I do. I have played for about 6 hours and have just about beat my first area. Plus it looks like there's many achievements for playing different ways, such as not killing anyone at all throughout the game. I usually don't buy brand new games without knowing they're good for sure but the Bethesda name and good reviews won me over.
I played it for three days or so on a redbox rental. I really liked it and will probably pick it up when it goes on sale black Friday or later on when there's a ton of used copies out there. It's the kind of game that really begs for multiple playthroughs as you can either play super stealth or super aggressive and it's almost an entirely different game based on that choice. I really liked how they offer non-lethal methods to take out the major targets, always in an interesting, creative way that's generally way cooler than just going in and assassinating them. Great stuff, and Dishonored is a really fantastic alternative to Ubisofts SIXTH Assassin's Creed game coming out in two weeks that's going to et all the press and attention soon.
Got this today for $25 at Best Buy, can't wait to finish.
