That's right, I am starting it baby! I felt strongly that a sequel was a done deal even before the first weekends box office was in just based on viewing the movie. Now we are starting to hear more.

Well, I hope this gets made. I wonder what the budget was on Prometheus...and how much it needs to make before it's profitable. But it had a strong opening and should earn about 200 million or so domestically, so that's not bad. A sequel is certainly warranted!
I believe it was like $130 million. They are at $230 million world wide as of June 17th.
I like it - no knuckle heads in the crew heading to the Engineer's home-world.

Wow, they really got their money's worth. The movie looks like it was made on the uber-expensive range, not that 130 mill is cheap. That's good news.
