He's the Domain Dominator! :)
Hmm, its a good business idea. I'm sure several people have made bank off of companies like Apple and MS when new products come out xD.

Tim, very true. AND...it can get funny at times. For example, I work for Western International University. About five years ago, we (our SPOT ON THE BALL IT dept) allowed our url to expire so someone picked it up. When our SPOT ON THE BALL IT dept finally found out they approached the guy who bought it and asked for it back...uh-huh. Well, the guy said NOPE, but you CAN buy it back. Of course, it was an undisclosed amount, but suffice it to say the head of our SPOT ON THE BALL IT dept was no longer in the company email registry shortly after we purchased the url back! :)

it does seem like a good business gamble, but a gamble nonetheless. how would he know if someone would buy his url for the price he was asking, or even want to buy it at all?
well i suppose that's the way it is in any business venture. but still, seems a little bit more of a risk.
yea yea, risk is your business. :)
