A fun, TNG episode is on hand this week for the podcast. I do a full commentary review of this one, also talk Trek and other movie news and even slip in a quick collectible review too. Enjoy the podcast everyone!

Really enjoying this weeks podcast. Awesome episode!
Thanks for all you do man.
Yup, enjoyed this one. THis is one of those 'meh' episodes of TNG for me, not incredible, but not too bad. It's fun and light, the guest star is good, it just never really compelled me very much.
Great Podcast Rico really enjoyed it..... how do you say that guys last name again?

Hi Rico, I just finished listening to the podcast yesterday. great podcast. I still remember watching this epsioded for the first time when it aired in '91. I was a bit dismayed that the crew would fall so easily for his charms. I have seen it only one time I think and I thought it was in interesting episode. I like where Data could analyze so many songs at once and be working on the other problems too. well he is a nandroid so he should be able to do just that. I think they kept the Professor in some prison for life somewhere in the federation. I think might be to dangerous to let out because of some of the knowledge of the future he has.
Hey Rico!
Great podcast. Frewer is a hard name to say. I think it's because of the fr at the beginning. It makes your mouth have to work a lot going from the fr to the oo sound in Frewer. Nice job trying though.
I remember Matt Frewer as the dad on Honey I Shrunk the Kids (the next door neighbor) and also for his portrayal as Trashcan Man on Stephen King's The Stand. He did a great job in that.
All the best!
Captain Z. :o
OK, I've listened now! :)
Back then I had no clue who Frewer was but listening now, it's really hard to divorce his EWureka character from the voice. Perhaps the visuals help.
I agree that everyone went along with him pretty easily, particularly considering the care they sem to take in all series when they start getting thrust about in time. Having said that, however, I can't say that I really noticed it in original run - being a little more analytical in watching this stuff maybe results in us picking up a few more details than perhaps we did all those years ago.
Caught this yesterday and I remember liking the episode. One of my favorite parts is at the end when Data says 'I believe that your hand print will open the door wether you are conscious or not." That might not have been exactly what he said but you know what I mean. Love that line! I enjoyed the podcast and your collectible review. Those DC pieces sound cool.
