Ok firstly everyone gloss over "how" i watch so many of your fine american tv shows and focus on my question please.
My wife and I enjoy many of your fine TV shows Castle, Hawaii Five-0, The Mentalist, Suits, NCIS, NCIS LA, The Secret Circle (ok thats my daughter) and many more, so my question is what's with the random breaks in a series, it will be on for a run of weeks, then a show stops for a couple of weeks then its back!
Why does this happen?
Yeah, this is something most networks like doing nowadays. Used to be that all new seasons started in like, September, went through their run (typically 26 episodes or so), then when those were all shown, we'd hit re-run season until the next September. NOW...that was a long time ago, like in the 70's, 80's, 90's. Now, they just want to drag seasons out longer, make you THINK you're getting more, or keeping it fresher in you head. I don't like it myself...
So, exactly HOW do you watch our shows? :)
Like Al said, most TV series do that these days. There are "sweep" periods of time where most shows will put out new stuff. One thing I used to like with shows like "24" is they would start in January and just plow through with 24 hrs. of new TV until mid May. Loved that format!
yes well <coughs> moving on :innocent
thanks for the feed back
Must admit, this has been bugging me too. It feels like this final season of Desperate Housewives has been on forever!
