And thanks for the new song too Mr. Moyer.  Very cool - as always!  :)

Glad you liked "I'll be back!"  I love those sample songs, very fun to create.

Good and interesting podcast, Rico.  I listened to the podcast during the day, and as a result I have just ordered Terminator 2 on Blu-ray.   ;D  I wasn't too keen on the first movie (sold my copy), loved the 2nd, hated the 3rd and enjoyed the 4th.   :)

Thanks.  I still find it amazing how much these films shaped the careers of many of the people involved and also how they impacted many movies to come after them.

Reviewed back to back reminded me how radical the change for Schwarzenegger's characters from villain to hero was.

Due to too much house stuff, I'm running well behind on podcasts. I'm just starting this one now but the Hunger Games stuff sounds interesting. I suspect I'll pick the books up before I see the film though.

Now on to the Terminators...

Hi Rico, I just listen to TSF podcast 379 just last night at work. great podcast.  I have have seen all 4 terminator movies over the years.  I just recently saw terminator 4 last year.  I think the best one of the four movies is number 2.  I remember seeing it when it was first released and how great it was, just an assume movie.  I never got into the Sarah connor Chronicles that much, but the terminateor franchise was great.  good to hear you podcasting again

Agreed, 2 is my favourite I think. It's a while since I've seen them but they tell enough of a story through the action that it's really quite riveting. 3 has been repeated a few times over here on TV recently and I always ended up watching from wherever it happened to be when I ran across it while channel hopping.

My dad and I used to play the Terminator II game at the arcades. The one where you have two people shooting. Definitely a father-daughter bonding moment. He used to do the "I'll be back" like Arnold. He and my Austrian grandma both live together in California. My grandma told me not to tell my dad that she had voted for Arnold when he became "The Governator." Too funny. In the airport, they have these shirts with his face on them as "The Terminator" but they say "The Governator."

Here's a funny bunnies clip of "The Terminator."

I always get the urge to watch the movies or shows that get covered on the podcasts. So now I want to have a marathon. I have all the movies in one form or another and I probably liked T2 the best but I really liked T3 also. I have The Terminator on VHS but they are streaming it right now on Netflix so that would proabably look better.
I know you had to rush a little bit to get them all in but it was still a great podcast.
