You forgot to adjust for leap-years...it was actually a Friday, I remember it well. Had a great party to celebrate it! :)

@quadshot: Gregorian or Julian years? Even the Gregorian calendar is off by a day every 3300 years or so. And are we taking into account the slowing down of the rotation of the earth? I think that puts the event in question on a Monday...
