The guest cast with Davekill is now up for this week covering the early days of Babylon 5, the music and more. Thanks to Dave for doing this cool show. I know all of you will enjoy it.

Looking foward to this, Davekill. Love this show!
All opening title credits strung together. I like the season 4 opening the best.

Thanks Dave! This one is queued up for the commute home.
Great job, Dave!

Great job, Dave!
Thanks Bryan.
That was a whole lot of clips and a fun project to do.
You "killed" it! Thanks for reminding me how awesome my 2nd fave SCi-Fi show of all time is!

Gosh, thanks guys :)
Great Job Dave, plenty of clips. I liked how you interspersed it with that parody of Babylon 5 done to Whom the Bell Tolls. You covered a lot in a short period of time.
I've only seen the first season of B5.. really need to watch the entire series one day.

Thanks Jeff, in hind-sight this would have made a good videocast. The Psi-corps telepath commercial below was pretty creepy and had a subliminal message tacked on the end.

I watched Babylon 5 after hearing Rico's review. Like Firefly, Star Gate and FarScape this one is a must see.
Wow, really enjoyed the B5 podcast, especially the parts about Christopher Franke and his music. I learned quite a bit from your clips about the music and immediately pulled out my ipod to listen to the CDs he put out a ways back. Thanks again - have all the episode disks, maybe it's time to start at the beginning and enjoy five years of sweet sci-fi.
Gotta love that Londo! but G'Kar was my fav. And Patricia Tallman - she psyched me out!

Thanks V-man!
I was trying to sound like you ;)
Just finished listening to this yesterday and you did do a great job on the podcast, Davekill. Hope to hear another one covering other parts of the series. I have all the seasons on DVD but I'm trying to get the movies set before I start into them because I want to watch the premiere movie 1st. I did find it on a vhs tape I made but was hoping for better quality.
Thanks WillEagle, funny you should mention that. I've considered a further exploration of the series and not a episode review per se.
The movies were a great addition to the series. Martin Sheen starring in River Of Souls, The creepy Third Space movie, etc.
I downloaded the original cut of 'The Gathering' from iTunes.
The latter re-edited version tells the story better, but I liked the upbeat rock sound track of Stewart Copeland. It had a cool '80s SciFi vibe.
Awesome job with your podcast on Babylon 5 Dave!
I've never seen a whole show. I've only caught bits and pieces. I thought it was interesting seeing Walter Koenig on it a few episodes. I recognized Andreas Katsulas' voice as G'Kar. He was also on ST:TNG as Commander Tomalak and my favorite character on my favorite PS2 game called Primal. He was the voice of Scree.
Nice Job!

Just listen to the podcast last night after hope and glory. I never was into B5 and I only saw a few episodes while channel surfing. after listing to his podcast I realize what I miss out on.
Walter Koenig was so likable as Chekov and as Bester he is a good villain too.
Bester didn't have many friends on the show because people around him kept dying.
He's really a good actor.
Great podcast, made me want to just listen to the musical score. Spotify don't seem to carry it though. Any links / suggestions?
I actually caved in and ordered series 1 box set off the back of this podcast from Amazon! I figured I would see if I liked it as much as I remember... but I have seen there have been issues with the transfer to DVD. I hope I won't be disappointed!

Of the few episodes I saw, there were a few with Walter koenig. Yes he was great as the bad guy and it was good to see him do other roles outside of checkof. I do remember a watching a scene with him and Harlan Ellison together as psycops. I think they were trying to brainwash Garibaldi
Just finished this episode great podcast Dave really enjoyed it. :D
