It seems the guys making this very real looking action figure of the late Steve Jobs might get sued by Apple. I'm not sure what the legalities are of making the likeness of someone deceased. Anyway, the face sculpt looks amazing.

They did an awesome job (or Jobs :) ) replicating his intense stare...spooky. Maybe it really IS him? He was kind of...eccentric.
I'm not sure of the legalities of any corporation owning the rights to an employee's likeness, be they living or dead.
I guess Jobs may have signed some form of agreement with the company?
Jobs may certainly be an exception. Most companies have you sign some type of document that allows them to use your likeness for company business. But being that Steve is gone now, I'm not sure that would still apply.
It's amazing what ideas people think of.... Lol

I haven't come across that (but then I haven't taken a new job in forever).
Pretty common over here now I think. Especially in the days of the internet, company websites, etc.
Last year another company offering a similar SJ action figure found a solution to the cease and desist order from Apple.
With a slight mod - "Phenomenal Pineapple CEO Action Figure (Ninja Edition)"! ;)

I'm also big fan Jack Welch, ex-CEO of GE, but I wouldn't want a likeness of him staring at me all day. :)
