This just arrived today and is a late xmas gift,
It is totally awesome it is primarily all metal except the power on button, although it has no sound effects, it makes up for it with the fully extended lightsaber in which you can see all the inner workings and lit crystal, it has sufficient weight to it an opens and closes with ease. It takes 3 x ag-5 button cell batteries which are concealed with a plastic cover in the control box.
When fully closed it is aprox 11 inches long and when fully extended it is 18 inches

Oh now that looks very nice. How much did that set you back? Love the light effect and metal finish/
Once it's converted to Canadian and shipping and custom fees are added it comes in just under 800.00 Canadian. however because these are sold out some people on ebay are selling these for between 1800 to 3500 us.
Gosh - that looks really nice! Darn it - now I want one too! Not sure why you would see them marked up on eBay. They are still easily available at retail prices.

I love this saber. Curious, one of your pics is of an Engineering prototype. Did you get two? Somethings not right here it seems some of the images are download copies.
Thats still quite a lot of money though. Bloody nice bit of kit though.
In fact i just found one of the pics you are passing off as yours over at the RPF in this thread of the actual guy who owns it. Seriously dude, why?

yes few are as my battery died on my camera so i took a few of the basic shots that i did not get too to show all the profile shots i could not take in order to show what a great prop it is.
no my intention wasnt to pass off anything that was not mine as i put my plate in their i also added some better close up photos of my own.
I don't believe a word you are saying. You took someone's pics, tried to pass them off as you own. Not the first time you have done that. And you show a random pic of the Engineering Prototype. So what's the issue number of yours then?
464 is my number
I wonder why its green and not a blue light?
And at this Photobucket account of another RPF'er I found more of your "pics"!

Green blade, Meds.
I have already admitted I did not take all of the pictures openly and I never said all of the pictures were mine
Oh so is this a ROTJ blade then? I should have known better lol. Cheers Bry.
What would you like me to do stand in front of the plaque and take a picture
Admitted after I caught you stealing pics! So tell me, if your issue number is 464, show me a pic of that plaque with the saber and you. Which pictures are of "yours" so I can go find those online as well.
464 is in the last 2 pics you posted, are you saying that is yours? So you claim you took your own, added more, but posted yours in your second post at the end? WTF? Here are more of your pics over at Reblescum:

For You Brian
On the second set of photos 2, 4 and 5 are mine.
What is with topless shots on this forum.
Nice shirtless shot by the way. So why the subterfuge? Seriously, why would you try and pass off pics?
As I have said my intention was not to pass off anything that was not mine which Is why I included the plaque, some of my photos did not come out and my camera died, so the ones I am ones taking now are with my wife camera, my only mistake here was not stating at the beginning that not all images were mine and this was my mistake as I was so excited to share this prop with all of you that I did not evan think about that, so I apologize for my oversite.
I thank you Brian for catching this, as I said that was honestly not my intention I was just really excited to get this prop and when my camera died I just grabbed the images I had of the best shots that is why I added my plaque as I was not trying to pass off a prototype as my own.
and the pictures are all messed up because I took the best pictures that showed, it closed and open whih is why all of my photos are in the second set. John
John, as long as you are just topless on those photos i will be able to sleep.
Well John, regardless, it is a great prop replica, definitely one of the best hero Luke ROTJ's ever made, likely the best. Rico and i know some of the guys who did some of the earliest versions of that one and went on to work with both Master Replicas and EFx.
As I said Brian I appreciate you catching this As my intention was not to deceive in anyway, When My camera died, I was trying to show the best pictures of this prop to all of you to show how cool it is, I was only thinking about showing this prop in the best light and I should have stated at the beginning of my post that due to camera malfunction, not all of the photos are mine, but were used to show how good this prop is so I am stating it now.
Wasn't the original master replicas one the obi-wan extreme that never got made
MR did have plans to make it but then never did when they went under/split up.
I heard that it became to expensive to do, due to the complexity of the design as the led was at the end of the hilt as well as as it also had sound efx.
Okay, I see a grudge match coming up here.
Who's it going to be in 2012, Cycling Shirtless Bryan or Topless Iceman John?
You guys are both awesome ;)
Cast your votes today gang.
My money is on the shirtless guy.
Mine too
Shirtless John as a response to Bryan? Seriously? Classic!
If I'd been drinking something I'd have spit it all everywhere...
I think neither can afford shirts after paying for those props... ;)
Ok, I vote that there are NO MORE SHIRTLESS photos on this forum! And what the heck? NO ONE has any body hair? :) Geez!
I may have to start a new picture blog. "Shirtless TSF Forum Member of the Day." LOL!!! :roflmao

I think that may also count as something that puts the women off joining us... (In more ways than the obvious one)
I don't know Mike, we may get more to join with more shirtless pics.
Oh, I know. The next vidcast - everyone is shirtless!!! :)
I would be more like Meds - it will look like I am wearing a sweater... ;)
ha ha ha ha
Too much off topic!!!
Back to the saber, someone... anyone...!
Ok - back to the saber. I really do want one, but I have another purchase I'm eyeing right now (non-prop related), so I think I still may pass this up. I've always been tempted to build my own, "reveal" style saber. On the Replica Prop forum there are some amazing and detailed ones people have made from scratch.
Yeah, this one is very tempting. I also really like the Luke ROTJ V2 that MR did a while back.
