The Netflix official app doesn't allow you to manage your DVD queue and when you load your queue page on an iOS device (iPhone or iPad) the page is very slow to respond.  That's why I've used one of the apps on my iPhone for years.  I was hoping there was a good iPad one but haven't come across any yet.

Thanks,

You mean when you go to Safari or other browser your Neflix queue loads slow for you?  Hmmm.

Gameloft is having a sale right now - games at $0.99.  I just picked up Dungeon Hunter 2 HD for the iPad which is a Diablo-like game.  Normal price I think is $6.99.  Check them out!

I guess I'm confused then. What do you mean by manage your instant queue? I'm on my iPad NetFlix app and can add, delete, watch whatever on it.

Not so much that it loads slow but once the page opens if I try to go up or down the page or tap on an item it takes 5-15 seconds for it to react.  This happens on all browsers that I've tried on my iPad.

I'm talking about my DVD queue, not my instant queue.

Ah, you left that part out! :)

Maybe Qikster (or whatever it will be called) will be coming out with its own app soon enough.

Sorry about that.

Some of my posts in their thread said DVD queue and some didn't...my bad.

OHHH - DVD queue!  "That's a horse of a different color."  :)

Found a really cool App called Goodplayer.  It seems to be able to play just about any media type file on my iPad.  If you have your computer set up with some kind of server function (such as TVersity), you can stream files right off your computer too.  Or just move them to the iPad and then play them.  I've also tried it with several types of file formats and all seem to work great.  I've also AVPlayer HD too, but that one seems to require you to move the files to your iPad.  Anyway, give it a try.

Hey - does anyone know an App or maybe even some kind of email notification site/service that will let you know what apps are on sale in the App store?  I know you can just go to the store and check, but I want something more automatic so I don't miss any deals.

They also have an app which can send notifications.

AWESOME!!!  An app for apps!  I love it!  Thanks Joe.

Hey Rico, try App Hits from the App Store. It's pretty good and shows all the deals and freebies out there

Here's a suggestion for Rick Moyer ---  Animoog.  A very cool Moog synth for the iPad, iPhone, etc.  Only 0.99 right now (normally $29.99!!!).  Maybe you already have this, but it seems perfect for you!
