I'm really excited about this as well as the DC Legends show. Heck with court dramas and cop shows I'll be watching superhero shows all week! Awesome trailer too!

I'm sorry but the trailer does nothing for me but make me cringe. Yeah the girl is cute. So what? oh...she can fly? Big deal. Can she act? NOPE! At least not from what I've seen so far. This is just some of the most hokey looking television I have seen in years. Even my wife said..."that sucks!". I trust her judgment.

Kevin - you might want to watch the movie "Whiplash" before you judge her acting abilities too much.

If it's on Netflix I'll check it out but honestly if I'm going to watch something this hokey and campy I'd rather watch my 1966 Batman. At least it's obvious it's tongue in cheek and intentionally corny. This looks like it's trying to be serious but falls flat. I'll give a few episodes a try just the same but I think Marvel does a far better job with this kind of thing than DC does and I think DC should just stick with their comic books and animated series (which they excel at btw).

I think trying a few episodes is the best approach.  Some shows are not for everyone.  I like what I'm seeing here.

Have you watched "Arrow" or "The Flash" yet?  Both are excellent DC tv series and most fans seem to really enjoy them.

I've not seen Flash yet because I have to wait on Netflix (remember we don't have cable, satellite or antenna). I think Arrow is pretty good. My favorite of the comic book genre is Agents of Shield. Daredevil on Netflix is pretty cool as well.

I'll add one other little sidenote about the Supergirl trailer, and I preface it with saying this is not a judgement about the lifestyle, but I think the sexual reference to lesbianism was inappropriate when they know a lot of kids will be watching the show. It was unnecessary and kind of tells me a lot about the writers.

Glad you are going to give it a shot.  I think it might surprise you.  By the way, you can watch "The Flash" here as it airs:  http://www.cwtv.com/shows/the-flash/watch/season1/.  I think Hulu has the older episodes too.

I'm excited to see more "Supergirl."

I watch most of the new shows on Hulu and they only keep the 5 latest episodes to stream. There are a few new shows where they have the whole run but those our mostly comedies. I watch Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, Flash, Arrow, and I was watching Gotham but missed an episode so I'll check out the rest on Netflix. I'll be watching DC's Legends of Tomorrow on Hulu too when it starts because I can watch them in HD. Supergirl I will watch on CBS All Access for the same reason of it being in HD. CBS doesn't stream new shows on Hulu so that's why we got CBS All Access.
And like I said before I really enjoyed the trailer and really look forward to this show. I have been reading her current comic but they ended it at issue 40. The new one will probably come out when the new show starts.

Amy and I both enjoyed the trailer and are hoping this new Supergirl series is a winner!
