Here's a very rough preview of Season 8 of "24." Probably my favorite non-SF series. Katee joins the team! :wub
(this video is from Comic Con and is very rough in parts)

Grandpa??!! Grandpa?? When did that happen?
Katee will be part of the cast? Hmmmmm...I may have to watch the first 2 hours.
Yes! "24" + Katee = Rico's head may explode! :metallica:
I can hardly wait for Jack to be Back.
I'm so far behind on 24 it's untrue. I'm not sure they all aired on terrestrial TV over here and I didn't have Sky back then. I think we've only seen the first three.
The funnt thing is that when they aired on the BBC, there were no ads so it kept jumping a few minutes. Kind of ruined the whole idea a little bit :)
Jack is back tonight!!!
Is that woman on his left from last season? Have to watch the recap at 7 tonight

Yes, that's the FBI agent Jack was working with last season.
Watched the first 2 hours last night. Sounds like only a few months have passed since last season. Jack is looking a bit older - wonder how many "days" he has left. :) Sometimes its a little hard to believe all this can happen in a single day. The new CTU set look very cool.
Watched 24 last night! Same old, same old... But I still have a feeling that it's going to be a very good season! And Katee is in it!!! Yeah!
I also enjoyed the new CTU set. It is following the typical 24ish plotline and style. I like it though. We will see what happens! JACK IS BACK!
Enjoying it so far. Some things are familiar and some new. Glad it looks like Katee is getting some good screen time too. And Jack is in good form. I like seeing him conflicted about what to do. And Chloe - so awesome! Glad it's back.
From watching Monday night's episode it seems that we might have another ex-BSG cast member on 24. At some point during the show they were talking about a "head master criminal" of the day and they had a picture, it was Leoben Conoy / Cylon #2 !!! Starbuck and Leoben will be together at last!!! :-)
Pretty crazy start so far to the season. Nice to see Renee back - even if she is more nuts than Jack now. Looking forward to next week's show.
I had the last 7 or 8 eps from season 7 on my DVR since last May, until I finally watched them over the past couple of days. Last season was pretty good. The White House scenario was really cool, I thought. Now I have three new eps to watch, can't wait!
I like the new season so far.
Jack is still the man. Especially after last night's episode. Things are starting to get good!
He's like Blade. They don't know who they're messin' with !
Report: 24 Cancelled On Fox
Is Jack Bauer down to his final hours?
The clock is ticking down for Jack Bauer and the cast of 24.
Variety is the first to call time of death on Fox's thriller, which is now in its eighth -- and apparently final -- season.
Rumors that this would the show's last season have been circulating for months. Ratings are down and many critics have jumped ship as well. The show premiered in 2001.
However, talk of a 24 movie persists. Star Kiefer Sutherland has publicly said he's on board if and when 24 movies to the big screen.
8 years is a nice run. Will the movie be called 2? :)
I still love the show and this season has been pretty good. But, I can see them wanting to close it out. I hope we get a little bit of closure for Jack in the last episode at least. Even if they still do a movie.
Jack Bauer is like Chuck Norris( who turned 70 today).
Fox won't cancel 24, Jack Bauer will cancel Fox.
RONZO :biggrin
I'm not sure I could manage sitting in a theater 24 hours straight. It would be worth a try though!

Jack Bauer's latest rough day will be his last on TV. FOX drama "24" will conclude with its current eighth season, star Mary Lynn Rajskub Tweeted on Friday.
"Just found out we got the word officially," she Tweeted. "This is 24's last season." FOX later confirmed the news in a statement to Access Hollywood.
"This has been the role of a lifetime, and I will never be able to fully express my appreciation to everyone who made it possible," series lead and executive producer Kiefer Sutherland said in a statement to Access. "While the end of the series is bittersweet, we always wanted '24' to finish on a high note, so the decision to make the eighth season our last was one we all agreed upon. This feels like the culmination of all our efforts from the writers to the actors to our fantastic crew and everyone at FOX."
The star added that a feature film was in development.
The series finale of "24" will air on Monday, May 24.
I think there is a double episode of "24" on tomorrow night. 4/5/2010 :)
It's been really good the last two weeks. REALLY good.
This is the first season of 24 for me. On the down side, it sucks because the show is ending. On the plus side, I've got 7 seasons of DVDs to look forward to! :)
8 years is a fantastic run, these actors need the break! Only way to watch these is commercial free and with multiple eps to watch at the same time, so you can appreciate the pace of the show. Sorry to see it go, now if the would only continue FlashForward! but alas.

I've watched all the seasons the old-fashioned way - when they were broadcast each week. I don't mind the wait and it kind of keeps the suspense up. Really hope they do a movie once the series finishes up and they don't wait too long.
Great episode last night! But seeing Jack smack Katee around was a bit hard to watch. ;)
After watching the latest episode of 24 I have some strong feelings.
I understand that the writers are making Jack darker and going down hill quickly, and that the show has been and is very violent, but it was pretty intense and uncomfortable this last time. It's like Jack is in a video game, not real life at any point. I don't know, it just kind of tipped over the edge for me. It has always been a bit unbelievable, but now it's getting kind of ridiculous to me. Am I the only one that is starting to wonder about this? hmm. I'll keep watching cause I'm invested in it now, but the last scene turned my stomach and even though she had it coming, I was left with a sick feeling of "Jack?"
Another favorite series is now gone. Enjoyed the finale episode though. Very Jack up to the very last scene. Great stuff and thanks for this awesome series! And especially thank you Kiefer!
I enjoyed the series finale much more than Lost. It was good to see Jack end that way. Now for the movie!

I'll 3rd that! :) I'm now on a mission to get caught up on the previous 7 seasons. Fingers crossed for a movie making its way onto the screen; I hear that Kiefer & the writers are working on a second draft of the script.
My only question- will they go with a title like "2", or something like "24: Day Nine"?
