The Romulan seperation from Vulcan

After watching Unification again recently, I was wondering does anyone know if there a book, or fan-fiction, which deals with rebel Vulcans leaving to set up the Romulan Star Empire?

i've never read it but Rihannsu is rumored to be a good book on the Romulan separation from Vulcan.

Rihannsu is a series of five books.  I think the Romulan /Vulcan split is in The Romulan Way (book #2).

Yep and a damned fine series. I love the insights and it handles the Remans as well
