First Gen iPod Nano Recall

Hey gang,
Apple has issued a recall on their first generation Nano's. Seems there is a safety issue with the batteries overheating. They're requesting first gen owners return their "defective" Nano's and they will replace them with a 16gb 6th Generation Nano. Details here:

Both Joyce and I did this and are waiting for our return packaging. Pretty cool of Apple! From what I can see there is no stipulation on condition of the Nano, I would assume as long as it's still working. If you have a personalized Nano, they won't send a replacement with your personalization on it. Al

X, I was the same way. But I thought, what the heck? If Apple wants to give me a newer COOLER product in exchange for one I don't really use anymore...SURE!! :)
