Title: Podcasting Equipment - Mixers
Post by: jedijeff on April 29, 2011, 11:45:05 AM
Hi All

Just wondering what the rest of you use for Mixers when podcasting. I am using a Tascam US-122L, but frustrated with it, as can only do mono with it, as I don't think it is overly compatible with Vista/Windows 7. So just curious what the rest of you use, as thinking of replacing it. I have a Condenser Microphone, and I was doing some looking around on the net and thinking this one, but wanted to see what the rest of you use.

That looks like a nice board, but if I were you I would go for a USB board.  MUCH cleaner and more quiet.

Here is the one I use... I know Jen and Kenny have this one as well... yes?

here is another Alesis model that costs less but has great specs and will serve you well.

Thanks for the Links Rick, will look into them, I would like to USB, I had to switch my mixer to the line out from USB, as the mixer USB just not compatible with my Windows.
