This new western style series starts this weekend. I'll be watching because of a certain actress in the show. :wub

HEY NOW! How did this escape my attention. Gotta set the old DVR.
A Starbuck clone showed up in the West?!

Just watched the first episode of this series and enjoyed it very much. It has a cool vibe, beautiful scenery (and I just don't mean Katee), and an interesting main character. I love westerns and this will fit the modern western bill quite nicely. Definitely added to my TIVO season pass list.
Yes, we really liked it as well. Very familiar for us as we live in the west and next door to Indian land. Love the vibe and scenery and the actors were top notch.
Yeah. It was interesting to see how much the Native Americans on "the res" didn't get along with the local whites and even had their own lawmen. Never knew that was true until I saw this show.

Oh yeah. I have had a run in with the Indian police when I rolled through a stop sign on the reservation...on my bike! He pulled me over and we had words.
Ok, I have some Native American blood in me so I can say this. Did they say...
"White man go too fast and needs to put shirt on!" ;)

LOL!
Yes, good show. I'm really liking the idea of modern Westerns...whatever they can do to keep the genre going. And it's so, so nice to see Katee Sackhoff on TV. The main character is a perfect western sheriff.
New episode tonight! I think I'm going to enjoy this one even more than last week (for some reason). :wub
Longmire 1x02 Episode Promo - "A Damn Shame" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fNF4yD6WfA#)
This show is really growing on me. I like the way Longmire investigates a crime. Second episode was another good one too. Solid series.
I've been really getting a kick out of this series. Stories are interesting and I liked the characters quite a bit. In fact, I think I'd enjoy this series even if Katee wasn't in it - but that certainly doesn't hurt the appeal for me! :)
Hmm never heard of this.. what channel is it on.. need to check it out.

A&E's 'Longmire' Renewed For Season 2
By NELLIE ANDREEVA | Friday June 29, 2012 @ 3:22pm PDTTags: A&E Networks, Longmire
EXCLUSIVE: Four weeks into its freshman run, I've learned that A&E's new drama series Longmire has been renewed for a second season. The Western-flavored series starring Robert Taylor and Katee Sackhoff premiered with 4.1 million total viewers to become the A&E's most-watched scripted series debut of all time and the highest-rated new cable scripted drama of 2012 among total viewers and adults 25-54 (1.4 million viewers). Over the first four airings, Longmire has averaged 3.9 million total viewers and 5.3 million viewers with Live +7 data for the first 2 weeks.
Awesome! It's a great show and the location and scenery is beautiful country.
I'm so behind on this. I loved the first and have the next few hanging out on my DVR. Need to catch up this weekend. Glad it got renewed.
Get caught up Chris. The show is really good and getting deeper into all the characters too. Behind the scenes pic below...
Well, I finally got caught up and watched the season finale. Wow. Great show. Love Walt, what a cool character. And oh, Katee. I would watch her read the paper for an hour. She kicks ass. Really interested to see how they resolve the finale. Wish it was more than 10 episodes, but heck, there was quality in place of quantity.
LOL - I haven't watched the season finale yet. But yeah, it's a great show. First seasons these days on cable TV can be short since they don't know how the series will do in the ratings but this show has done very well. And don't forget it will be back next season!
P.S. And where can I see this show of Katee reading the paper for an hour? :)

In my sweet, sweet dreams, Rico.
Season two of this great series just started up again a couple days ago. This is really a cool show and the first episode of season two was fantastic. Even if Katee wasn't in this series it would be worth watching. But she certainly adds to my enjoyment of the show. :wub
This is going to be one dark season! Katee looked great of course. This show is filmed SO well, I guess the scenery doesn't hurt any.
They need to have Simon Helberg as a guest
Season two has been really great so far. Here's a cool photo of the cast. It's awesome having a modern western on tv.
Any word on if its getting a 3rd season? It's one of my favorite shows on right now.

Season three is a go!
(here are two of the lovely ladies of the series, Katee and Cassidy Freeman)
BOOOO! Canceled, no fourth season. The cliffhangers, man! I'm angry, CHRIS SMASH! :old_bash: :mad2: :hulk
FRAK! FRAK! FRAK! Maybe Netflix or someone will pick up the show.
P.S. Only positive is this might allow Katee to be in a Marvel movie!
And the flags in MI go to half mast..
Must...resist...obvious...joke.............
To get us back on track, they are shopping the series to other networks. Fingers crossed.

Hard at work on Season 4! Check out this pic Katee tweeted out. Notice the Sheriff in the background. :)
Another pic... :wub
I really like this show too. Glad to hear Netflix picked it up for a 4th season. Waiting for season 3 to show up though on Netflix. Couldn't watch it on its cable run. I also really like that car! I love those and have always wanted one. I guess you could call it my dream car. A Trans-am or Firebird would do. And of that timeframe of the one on the show. I'll have to tell my Dad Netflix picked this up because he's the one that got me hooked on it.
Season 4 teaser. Coming next month on Netflix.
YEE_HAW!!!
