Trek characters you identify with

Based on what I talked about on the live podcast today.  Pick a character from each Trek series you identify most with.

Here's my list:

TOS: Spock
TNG: Data
DS9: Bashir
VOY: Tom Paris
ENT: Trip

TOS: Scotty - Lots of pressure but somehow pulling off miricles
TNG: OBrien - In the background but always there when needed
DS9: Rom - Bullied a lot but when push comes to shove, can stand my ground
VOY: Kes - Quiet, strong but always knowing that there is more to my life
ENT: Trip - Good ol' country boy, hard working and able to solve problems quickly

Now I have to put my Spock ears on and really think about this.  

TOS:  Dr. McCoy
TNG:  Wesley Crusher (for real!)
DS9:  Jake Sisko
VOY:  Harry Kim
ENT:  Hoshi Sato

I know TOS forwards and backwards, and so Bones was an obvious choice for me, although I can identify with other characters from TOS.  McCoy had that gruff exterior at times but he was someone I know I would admire and respect based on DeForest Kelley's sincere portrayal.  

For TNG I picked Wesley because he was the odd man out and having served in the military myself, I think I could identify with being out of place like he was at times.  I was a nerd-geek in the Marines, Wesley a nerd-geek in Star Fleet.  We both did our best, but in the end we knew our futures lay elsewhere.  

For DS9 and Voyager I had a tough time with making this list because I am not all that familiar with the characters on those series.  Based on what I have seen from those series, I picked Jake and Harry because they are the only two I think I can indentify with.  

On Enterprise I identify with Hoshi.  The good Hoshi... not the mirror Hoshi.  :innocent
