A model picked to play the real life version of game character Firiona Vie from the original “Everquest” poses at E3.  It’s always fun to see pixel generated game characters brought to life.  And this is especially cool for me since I played the original “Everquest ” game for several years.

Actress Téa Leoni was born as Elizabeth Téa Pantaleoni in New York.  Her genre related work includes parts in:  “Switch”, “Deep Impact”, “The X Files”, “Jurassic Park III”, and “Ghost Town.”  The beautiful Téa is also married to “X Files” star David Duchovny.  I hope we get to see more of her in future genre projects to come.

Actress Keegan Connor Tracy was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  She originally studied business and psychology in college but eventually landed a career in acting.  Her many genre related parts include:  “The Net”, “Millennium”, “NightMan”, “Seven Days”, “Strange Frequency”, “Dark Angel”, “Jake 2.0″, “The 4400″, “Battlestar Galactica”, “Supernatural”, “Eureka”, and others.  She gets all of her work in Canada where many series are filmed these days.  I hope we continue to get to see more of the lovely Keegan in future genre work to come.

Actress Jessica Alba is here for our repeat Monday this week.  A regular in genre work, she was featured in this blog back in 2008 right HERE.  The lovely Jessica has a new non-genre film coming out this coming Friday called “Machete” which looks like fun.  I hope we continue to see her up on the screen for a long time to come.

Actor Paul Walker was born in Glendale, California.  He began acting at a young age, mainly in television.  His genre related credits include parts in:  “Monster in the Closet”, “Tammy and the T-Rex”, “Touched by an Angel”, “Pleasantville”, and “Timeline.”  He is also into martial arts and usually does his own stunts.  I look forward to seeing more of Paul in future genre work.

Actress Lizzy Caplan was born as Elizabeth Anne Caplan in Los Angeles, California.  She graduated from the prestigious Hamilton Academy of Music in Los Angeles, California, Class of 2000.  Her genre related credits include parts in:  “Freaks and Geeks”, “Smallville”, “Tru Calling”, “Cloverfield”, “True Blood”, and “Hot Tub Time Machine.”  I look forward to seeing more of Lizzy in future genre work.

Actress Eva Habermann was born in Hamburg, Germany.  She mostly acts in films and television in Germany.  But, her big genre credit was as the original Zev Bellringer in the series, “Lexx.”  I hope we get to see the beautiful Eva again sometime in future genre work.

Actress Paula Garcés was born in Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia.  She grew up in New York and once considered a career in kick boxing before turning to acting.  Her genre work includes parts in:  “Clockstoppers”, “Knight Rider”, “Defying Gravity” and “Warehouse 13.”  I hope Paula continues to have a successful career and we get to see her in even more genre roles.
