Actress Aisha Tyler was born in San Francisco, California.  She graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Political Science.  Besides acting, Aisha has done a lot of stand up comedy over the years.  Her genre related work includes roles in:  ”The Pretender”, “The Santa Clause 2″, “24″, “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause”, “Balls of Fury”, “Bedtime Stories”, “Halo: Reach” and “Archer.”  I look forward to more from this gifted and lovely lady.

A little tribute to two of the lovely ladies on the hit comedy, “The Big Bang Theory.” In the wedding dress is Bernadette (played by Melissa Rauch) and on the right is Penny (played of course by Kaley Cuoco).  Both of these women are great at comedy and awesome on this series each week.

Actress Meghan Ory was born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.  She was a recipient of the Fine Arts Award for Acting from the Royal Oak School in 1996.  Her many genre related roles include work in:  ”The Darklings”, “The Crow: Stairway to Heaven”, “The Outer Limits”, “Dark Angel”, “Vampire High”, “Smallville”, “Decoys”, “Nightmare”, “Painkiller Jane”, “Flash Gordon”, “Sanctuary”, “Supernatural”, and currently she plays Ruby (and Red Riding Hood) on the ABC series, “Once Upon a Time.”  I hope we continue to see more of this lovely and busy woman in many projects to come.

For today, just a great piece of art from artist Dennis Budd of Counselor Deanna Troi from “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”  Troi was played by the lovely Marina Sirtis for seven seasons on TNG.  And don’t forget, the TNG Blu-Ray sampler disc is out this week for all of us to finally see TNG in hidef!

A special picture today celebrating the series finale of the great TV series “Chuck.” Above you will see actor Zachary Levi (“Chuck”) and actress Yvonne Strahovski (“Sarah”).  Both of these actors have really done a great job during the whole five years the series has been on the air over at NBC.  So, tonight we say goodbye to the characters but I truly believe these actors will be in our spotlight for a long time to come.

Actress Alexa Vega was born in Miami, Florida.  Besides acting she also is a pianist and singer.  Her genre related work includes roles in:  ”Twister”, “Netforce”, “Spy Kids” (and the three sequels), “Repo! The Genetic Opera”, “Ghost Whisperer”, and others.  I look forward to seeing more of this very talented and lovely young lady in future projects to come.

Actor Channing Tatum was born in Cullman, Alabama.  He played many sports growing up in a rural town and eventually became a male model and later moved into acting.  His genre related work includes:  ”War of the Worlds”, “G.I.: The Rise of Cobra”, “The Eagle”, “Haywire” (out currently), and this summers “G.I.: Retaliation.”  I think this hunky and likable star will continue to do well for himself.

Actress Sarah Shahi was born as Aahoo Jahansouz Shahi in Euless, Texas and is a former NFL cheerleader.  She eventually moved into acting and her genre related work includes roles in:  ”Alias”, “Sleeper Cell”, “Psych”, “Young Justice” and the short film, “The Death and Return of Superman.”  She also played a detective on the TV series “Life.”  I look forward to seeing more of the lovely Sarah in future work.

Actress Kristen Hager was born in Red Lake, Ontario, Canada.  She is currently appearing in the SyFy series “Being Human” as the character of Nora.  Other genre related work for this lovely young lady includes:  ”Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem”, “The Dresden Files”, “Wanted”, “Valemont”, and the upcoming movie, “A Little Bit Zombie.”  I look forward to seeing much more of this rising star in the future.
