Actor Sam Trammell was born in New Orleans, Louisiana.  He started mostly in the theater and attended Brown University.  He is best known these days for playing Sam Merlotte on the hit HBO series, “True Blood” and is the only cast member actually from the state the series is set in.  Other genre related work for him includes:  ”Undermind”, “Anonymous Rex”, “Numb3rs”, “Dexter”, “AVPR: Aliens vs. Predator – Requiem”, and “Medium.”  I hope we continue to see this versatile and talented actor in future roles to come.
