Actress Noomi Rapace was born as Noomi Norén in Hudiksvall, Gävleborgs län, Sweden and spent time growing up in Iceland too.  She got bitten by the acting bug at the young age of 7 and left home at age 15 to become an actress.  She is starring in the new Sci-Fi film out today called, “Prometheus.” Her other genre related work includes roles in:  ”The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, “The Girl who Played with Fire”, “The Girl who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest”, and “Sherlock Homes: A Game of Shadows.”  I look forward to seeing more of the talented and lovely Noomi in future roles to come.
