Hunk actor Joe Manganiello was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The very athletic Joe is probably best known now for playing Alcide on the hit HBO vampire TV series, “True Blood” (which starts it’s new season this coming weekend).  Other genre related work for him includes:  ”Spider-Man”, “Spider-Man 3″, “Medium” and others.  He was also a lead contender to play Superman in next year’s movie reboot film.  I look forward to seeing more of the talented Joe in future roles to come.
