Actress America Ferrera was born in Los Angeles, California.  Her parents are Honduran and she started acting in community theater and school plays at the age of eight.  Her genre related work includes roles in:  ”Touched by an Angel”, “3:52″, “Tinker Bell”, “How to Train Your Dragon”, and other projects.  She is probably best known for her role on the “Ugly Betty” TV series.  I look forward to seeing more of this funny, and very talented woman in future work to come.
